Substantial and handsome, this early cleaver boasts mixed metals of carbon forged steel, brass and copper. The handle completes itself in the head of a dragon. The blade has a ring for hanging and unusual flourishes. A rare and magnificent find. Measures 15” x 3”. France, early 1800s.
